Twenty years ago, a dream was born on the sun-soaked hills of Tuscany and Umbria, along the romantic canals of Venice, and amid the timeless streets of Rome. In 2004, our founders embarked on a journey through Italy that would forever change their lives. Captivated by the warmth of Italian hospitality and the vibrant flavors of regional cuisine, they returned home to Saint Petersburg, Florida, determined to bring that experience to their community.

The Beginning: Central Avenue

Later that year, BellaBrava opened its doors on Central Avenue in downtown St. Pete. With a menu inspired by authentic Italian traditions and a modern twist, BellaBrava quickly became a local favorite—a place where friends gathered, families celebrated, and unforgettable memories were made.

A New Chapter: Beach Drive

After five successful years, we moved to a beautifully renovated space on Beach Drive. This new location allowed us to expand our footprint and elevate the dining experience while staying true to our Italian roots. Over the years, BellaBrava has grown into the vibrant, welcoming restaurant you know today.

Expanding Our Family

Our passion didn’t stop at Beach Drive. In 2020, we opened our second BellaBrava in Tampa, bringing our signature flavors across the bay. Then, in 2024, we proudly launched our third location in Land O’ Lakes, making it easier than ever for guests to enjoy the BellaBrava experience.

The Heart Behind It All

Through every milestone, one thing has remained constant: the original owners still own and operate BellaBrava under our parent company, 2BHospitality. Today, 2BHospitality includes not only BellaBrava but also Stillwaters Tavern, with locations in Saint Petersburg and Land O’ Lakes. Our commitment to quality, hospitality, and community is stronger than ever.
